“Young(In) is a writer and creative from the South Side of Chicago, whose artistry spans poetry, stories, and raps. Inspired by the raw, introspective lyricism of artists like Nas, Westside Boogie, Domo Genesis, Saba, and MFnMelo, Young(In) uses writing as a means of escape.
Whether he’s writing to tell stories he once didn’t have the courage to share or simply getting off a bar or two, Young(In)’s work is a reflection of his journey—one that blends vulnerability with creativity.
Young(In) has had the privilege of sharing his work with the world, having been featured on Illanoize Radio and SocialWorks Chicago. He’s also honored to be a fellowship member of the John Walt Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by Saba that supports and empowers Chicago's creative community. In other words, Young(In) writes. A lot.”
